Culinary Arts Training Program
The Culinary Arts Training Program includes instruction in the safe handling of food. Students will be eligible to receive the ServSafe Food Handler certificate, ServSafe Alcohol Certificate, and the ServSafe Food Protection Manager credential. This training program also includes an internship with a catering business and hands-on instruction from a catering Chef.

Course content and credentials consist of the following:
Basic Food Handling: The module consists of classroom lecture including worksheets and practice tests, 3 hours of online study, then non-proctored computer testing. Successfully passing this test results in the ServSafe Food Handler credential.
Alcohol Management: The module consists of classroom lecture including worksheets and practice tests, 3 hours of online study, then proctored computer testing, proctored by a Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor. Successfully passing this test results in the ServSafe Alcohol certificate.
Food Safety Management: The module consists of classroom lecture including worksheets and practice tests, hands-on skills training with a Chef, then computer testing, proctored by a Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor. Successfully passing this test results in the ServSafe Food Protection Manager credential.
